We have included theme sessions on using Student Response Systems (Clickers) when requested by participants. In one ISW, a participant used them in her lesson.
PowerPoint has not been forbidden - lots of learning through discussion regarding effective uses of PPT as a result. Also prompts discussion on how to engage learners.
Used animations created with applications such as xtranormal as discussion prompts (i.e. Is this good feedback?)
One participant used her iPad to create an environment more conducive to meditation.
